Beijing: Day 2 (part 1)

DAY 2
I reckon the best part of Beijing was this day. The main attraction point of this day was the Forbidden City. Yay!! I have always wanted to go to the Forbidden City - I even did my detailed study on the Forbidden City :P

Anyways, I took heaps of photos, so I'll have to split the day up into two posts :)
The first stop for the day was the Summer Palace, the imperial garden of Beijing.

Qilin, a mythical creature.

Phoenix

And of course, a dragon

Man-made Kunming Lake (2.2 square kilometers) :o

The Long Corridor - goes on for almost a kilometer.

So old but so beautiful.

Then it was off to lunch, and then Tiananmen and the Forbidden City!

Mum and the tour bus :)
